Sunny Day is a daily-life themed zine celebrating the 10th anniversary of the manga ending of Katekyo Hitman REBORN! (KHR!). The zine's namesake is from the anime's 7th opening song, “Funny Sunny Day” by SxOxU. The name hopes to invoke feelings of nostalgia and happy times in fans who may reminisce in one of the anime's key milestones.
I was brought in as the organizer of this project, and oversaw it from conceptualization to production and customer fulfillment stages of the life-cycle. In the administrative team, I was responsible for contributor organization, social media marketing strategy and account management, internal and external communications (project announcements, outreach, application emails, manufacturers, etc.). I also handled the creation of all marketing material, including static and motion graphics, video production, and the actual formatting from end to end of the physical A5, 85-page book.
The project is wrapped up, having sent out all preorders to customers, and all contributors received a full bundle of the zine, which includes the physical book, the PDF version and all merch.
I made a video in Adobe Premiere Pro to showcase all the artwork, fiction and merchandise that was created by my talented team and promote the crowdfunding (preorders) of the project so it could reach production and fulfillment.
