For this academic project, I was required to develop a magazine concept of my choosing, and design the related content. Design and art direction deliverables included sourcing articles, photographs, determining an appropriate format and size, creating a cover, table of contents, and interior spreads, and develop a typographic format that highlights a consistent design approach throughout the publication. My choice for my magazine was an Asian food and culture magazine that aims to connect Asian diaspora in North America to their ethnic roots and traditions through cuisine.
